Artwatcher status

Here's the gist; the reason it's been so long since a new version has been released is because I switched languages. I just couldn't couldn't get the RAM usage as low as I wanted in Java so I'm doing in on C++ now which means rewriting all the instructions for connecting with other sites. And for that I'm taking my time by having my own XML, HTML and JSON parsers to my liking to make work easier. Also It will have a new name and logo that I will reveal when it's released. ArtWatcher now on Itch.io

Since the Patreon campaign was unsuccessful I am moving ArtWatcher to Itch.io - http://jack-mcslay.itch.io/artwatcher/ where you can now get the current and future versions of the application as well as support me on the development. This also follows the release of a new alpha, the 1.0a001 deviantart preview. With the large change on design It will take some time till I restore functionality of other sites as well as upload functionality. This brings the advantage that the app is now a proper browser rather than just a service running on the background that you access through existing browsers. Artwatcher Update

So I'm making this update to give the status of the development of Artwatcher. Development has been slow, I know, I've been busy and as such I can only spend so much time on a project that isn't giving me real returns. The good news is: next release will be 1.0, because it should be robust and lightweight enough to be considered stable. The solution is: next release will be a standalone browser rather than a local webservice. That means it will be easier to implement further support (TECHNICAL: because I don't have to emulate a browser but rather just let the user login on the site himself and use the response cookies to authenticate) in ad
